Lithurgie

The celebration of the lithurgy serves to worship God and to deepen faith. It encompasses the entire worship event: Prayer, reading, proclamation, singing, embroidery, vestments, symbols, giving of sacraments and others. No one can escape the opulently celebrated lithurgy in the Russian Orthodox houses of worship with its pomp, incense and, above all, the beguiling chorales.
